A New York Cider Country Recipe

Cider Baked Apple


Ingredients

1-cup of apple cider
6 firm New York apples such as Cortland, Empire, quartered and cored
1/2- cup granola breakfast cereal
1/2- teaspoon cinnamon

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place apples in an 8” x 8” casserole dish. Pour cider over apples and sprinkle lightly with cinnamon. Cover casserole and bake until apples are soft, approximately 20-30 minutes.

Sprinkle cereal over the apples immediately before serving.

Serves 6
